ISO/TS 16949 requires the accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 for external laboratories used for testing and calibration services.
With the assessment in 2022 by the DAkkS, further test methods were included in the scope of accreditation. Here, accreditation of the cleanliness test by means of suction extraction based on VDA 19.1 / ISO 16232:2018 is to be emphasized. Even though extraction by suction using air is not yet described in these sets of standards, the basic procedure for qualifying the test parameters is very closely based on VDA 19.1 / ISO 16232:2018 and thus forms an essential basis for this accreditation.
Furthermore, the test methods for material characterization by means of energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) were included in the accreditation and now completed the accreditation scope the characterization of inorganic and organic particle materials.
The accreditation now also includes the gravimetric test method with nanobalance (QCM) for determining filmic impurities (AGREE®) and the contact angle measurement for determining the surface energy, thus supplementing the scope of test methods for testing chemical-filmic surface cleanliness.
The scope of the accredited test methods for the two sites in Emmingen-Liptingen and Dresden is documented in the current accreditation certificate.
Bosch's Diesel Systems Division recommended the CleanControlling test aboratory to perform component cleanliness inspections for its suppliers and automotive manufacturers.
