The business developments of our youngest business branch with the chemistry laboratory in Leipferdingen continue to develop positively under the management of Dr. Alexander Klaiber and, in addition to new business areas in environmental analysis, also open up important synergies for our biology laboratory, which focuses on medical technology. Here, the chemical characterization of medical devices according to DIN EN ISO 10993-18 has gained considerably in importance, for which the chemical analyses are carried out in the chemistry laboratory and the results are interpreted and evaluated by our specialists from the medical field.
Against this background, the team management for the two specialist areas of environment and medical technology of our chemistry laboratory in Leipferdingen will be transferred to the responsibility of two experienced colleagues as of August 1, 2023.
Marion Breunig will take over as team leader for the medical technology department in the chemistry laboratory. Ms. Breunig has already been working as a test manager in this area for about 2 years and is familiar with structures and employees. She is familiar with our customers in this field and already in regular contact.
Dr. Jan Kaiser takes over as team leader for the environment department. Mr. Kaiser has already been with the company since the end of 2022 and was entrusted with sales, test planning and analytics of special projects as test manager special project in the area of technical cleanliness. As a chemist with a doctorate, he has several years of experience in chemical analysis and is familiar with the structures and employees.
